The unexpectedly large response to the T-shirt appeal recently co-ordinated by RamsTrust means that we will again operate our RamsTrust Rendezvous / collection facility before the Rams’ next home match on Saturday November 28th.

We had so many T-shirts donated up to and on the day of the Rams’ home victory over Coventry that we have already allocated several consignments to project workers operating in Ethiopia, Swaziland and Tanzania.

So anyone who doesn’t cherish that well-meant club memento of a very disappointing Rams result can bring their unwanted Rams-QPR T-shirt along to the foyer in the DW Sports & Fitness Centre (formerly the JJB Soccerdome) adjacent to Pride Park Stadium before the Reading game, between 11 am and 2:15 pm.

Latecomers after 2:30pm may miss us, but DW staff will kindly receive them on our behalf, and if you aren’t going to the match but would still like to donate, they are also happy to take in your unwanted Rams (or other) T-shirts during their normal working hours.

The folks at DW also advise us that there’s another pile waiting there for us to collect on Saturday. Everyone donating a shirt will have helped the Rams to ‘go global’ from the goodwill of Derby folks; we’re pleased to pass this on via the charity links that we’ve been able to forge.
