As Derby County marked the contribution of former chairman Lionel Pickering by unveiling a monument to him at Pride Park Stadium during the kick-off week to 2009-10, RamsTrust has updated the essay published on his passing in September 2006 and again dedicates it to his memory.

Derby fans everywhere will be happy that justice was done at Northampton Crown Court on July 20th with jail sentences handed out to Murdo Mackay, Andrew Mackenzie, Jeremy Keith and David Lowe for their parts in fraudulent activities at our football club.

Many fans will remember Wrexham in going in to administration 3 years ago: It was proved later in the high courts that this was part of a plan of the owner to level the stadium and build houses on it for his own profit.
